Guest Guidelines
To help keep Vincent Lake peaceful, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask guests to follow a few simple guidelines during their stay.
Vincent Lake Cabins is designed to be a quiet retreat where guests can relax, enjoy nature, and experience Northern Michigan at a slower pace. These guidelines help preserve that experience for all guests.
Guests often tell us they appreciate the balance of privacy and peace of mind here, knowing help is nearby if needed, while still enjoying the quiet and space of the property.

The Lake & Beach
Guests are welcome to enjoy Vincent Lake and the surrounding shoreline. Swimming is at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty. Fishing is catch and release only, and a valid Michigan fishing license is required. Lake toys and kayaks may be available and are first come, first served. Life jackets are provided and strongly recommended while on the water, and guests are welcome to bring their own, particularly for children or for the best fit. Outside boats, engines, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards are not permitted.

These guidelines help keep the lake quiet, safe, and enjoyable for all guests.

The Property
Vincent Lake Cabins sits on over 250 acres of private land. Guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the grounds. Please stay on established paths when exploring wooded areas. Wildlife is common, so please observe from a distance and do not feed animals. Help us keep the property clean by disposing of trash properly.

Safety & Respect
To maintain a safe and peaceful environment, firearms and fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the property. Quiet hours are observed in the evening out of respect for other guests. Please be mindful of neighboring cabins and shared outdoor areas. Trash should be disposed of in designated areas, and burning trash is not permitted anywhere on the property.

For emergencies, please call 911 first, then contact the owners. Owners and staff are nearby and available to assist guests when needed, while also respecting your privacy during your stay.

Cabin Use
Only registered guests may stay overnight in the cabins. Parties or events are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted inside the cabins. Please treat furnishings, appliances, and décor with care so future guests can enjoy the cabins as well. Please do not flush feminine products, wipes, or other non-toilet-paper items down the toilets, as this can cause plumbing issues. Waste receptacles are provided for your convenience.

Vehicles & Parking
Parking is available near each cabin, and parking signs designate parking areas for each cabin. Please drive slowly on the property, as guests, children, and wildlife may be present.
